Tours: We are a midwest touring company that teaches about the natural link that exists between sustainable farming, great cooking and the environment. Tours are offered in three regions: Northwest Illinois, with Wisconsin and Iowa; Northern Lower Michigan, into the U.P.; and Southeast Missouri, along the Mississippi River, with Kentucky and Southern Illinois.
FoodBooks: In 2008, we developed a set of booklets from our tours, capturing the recipes, stories, images, and great information that we were learning at every stop. FoodBooks are available for individuals, and for resale at farmers markets, farm markets, and non-profit fundraisers.
Business: We incorporated in April 2005. This year, 2010, we are working with 10 chefs, five tour guides, and more than 60 farms and gourmet shops. There are 10 FoodBook titles available now, and we are working on the next 15 titles. We contract with tour guides, chefs, farmers, designers, and photographers, in six midwest states, primarily Michigan and Illinois.
