About our Culinary Farm Tours

An important part of the Learn Great Foods mission is to educate consumers about where our food comes from and how it is grown. What better way than to directly connect you with the local farmers!

During our tours, you'll get an up-close look at the operations of sustainable and organic farms and you'll have a chance to ask local farmers and vintners questions about anything, from growing techniques to ecological issues. Tour destinations include organic beef and dairy farms, fruit/vegetable farms, wineries, creameries and local coffee roasters. This interactive experience will be one you won't soon forget!

All farms tours are followed by a hands-on cooking class, where a celebrated chef will use that day's fresh-from-the-farm bounty to make delicious culinary creations. And at the end of the day, you eat it! Relax and enjoy your gourmet creations over good conversations with the other guests and the chef. Bon appetit!

Take the Taste Home!

Each tour (with cooking class and dinner) includes recipes and other notes that will help you remember and use what you learned in the weeks after your tour!
